How we look after your information
What we collect
Your name and email address, your professional background, business interests, preferred ways of participating, optional capital and risk preferences, your goals and timing, and your choices about introductions, contact and the member directory.
Why we collect it
To help the Business Subcommittee understand members' interests, plan relevant education and networking activities, and suggest introductions between members with complementary interests. Expressing interest is never treated as a request for funds or a commitment to invest.
Who can access it
Your individual answers are visible only to you and to authorized committee administrators. Committee members without administrator access cannot see financial answers. Other members never see your capital range, risk tolerance or any other financial response.
Member directory
The directory is optional and requires your separate consent. If you opt in, only your name, profession, business interests, expertise, partnership interests and contact preference are shown. Agreeing to the directory is separate from agreeing to introductions or general use of your answers.
Introductions
The committee only suggests introductions if you agree. Suggestions are reviewed by people and are never endorsements or investment recommendations.
Exports
Summary reports are anonymized. Exports of individual records are restricted to administrators.
How long we keep it
We keep your responses while you remain a member, or until you ask us to delete them. Responses are reviewed and removed within 12 months of membership ending.
Your rights
You can review and update your answers at any time from My responses, and request a correction or full deletion of your data there.
